Privacy policy

Effective October 12, 2026

Unrivaled SEM is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Ryan Eckerson in Owosso, Michigan (“Unrivaled SEM”, “I”, “me”). This policy explains what information I collect through unrivaledsem.com, how I use it, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: [email protected] or (248) 284-3015.

Information you give me

When you request an audit or contact me, I collect what you enter: your name, business name, email, phone number, website, business type, ad spend range, the ad platforms you use and your message.

I use it to respond to your request, prepare your audit, and talk with you about my services. By submitting the form, you agree that I may contact you about your request by email, phone call or text message. Message and data rates may apply, and you can tell me to stop contacting you at any time. I won’t add you to a marketing list without asking.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the site and its hosting provider receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit.

The site also uses cookies and similar technologies from these services, loaded through Google Tag Manager:

If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, these stay off until you accept them. Everywhere else they’re on by default, and you can turn them off anytime (see “Your choices” below).

Ad click and campaign details. If you arrive by clicking an ad, the site may save the ad click identifier (such as a Google or Meta click ID) and campaign details, and include them with any form you submit. This lets me see which ads lead to inquiries. It’s kept for your browsing session, or up to 90 days if you accept marketing cookies.

Enhanced conversions. Unless you’ve turned off marketing cookies, when you submit the form your email address and phone number may be sent to Google in a hashed (one-way scrambled) form so Google can match the inquiry to an ad click. Google uses it only to measure ad performance.

Who I share information with

I don’t sell your personal information. I share it only with service providers that help run this site and my business, under their own privacy terms:

I may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect my rights or the safety of others.

Your choices

You can accept, reject or pick cookie categories in the cookie banner, and change your mind anytime with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Choosing “Reject all” turns off analytics and marketing cookies. Necessary storage, which remembers your cookie choice and protects the form from spam, is always on.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, and manage ad personalization in your Google and Meta settings.

Your rights

You can ask me what personal information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email [email protected] and I’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and I’ll honor those requests too.

How long I keep information

I keep inquiry details as long as needed to respond to you. If we work together, I keep business records for the length of our relationship plus any period required for tax or legal purposes. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of each tool, generally no longer than 14 months.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the accounts that hold your information is protected. No website or email system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

Children

This site is meant for business owners and isn’t directed at children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I’ll post the updated version here with a new effective date.
